OnlyFans Earnings and Agency Commission Calculator
Work out what you actually keep from OnlyFans. Enter what fans spend in a month, or estimate it from subscribers, price and extras, then add any agency offer: the percentage, what it's charged on and any fees. The calculator subtracts OnlyFans' 20% fee, applies the commission on the right base and shows what's left, what the agency costs as a share of your net, and how much growth an agency would need to deliver to leave you better off.
Editorial note: Arithmetic on your own numbers, not a forecast and not a quote. It assumes OnlyFans' 20% fee on all fan spend and excludes tax, payout and currency-conversion costs. The 40% starting rate is an example for the maths, not VANTA's rate: VANTA's commission is a percentage of net profit after OnlyFans' fee, agreed individually with each creator.
Your month
| Step | Amount |
|---|---|
| Fans spend (gross) | – |
| OnlyFans' 20% fee | – |
| Reaches your account (net) | – |
| Agreed costs | – |
| Amount commission is charged on | – |
| Agency commission | – |
| Fixed and upfront fees (monthly share) | – |
| You keep, before tax | – |
Without JavaScript the calculator can't run, so here is the worked example it starts with: fans spend $10,000, OnlyFans keeps $2,000 and $8,000 reaches you. At 40% of net the agency takes $3,200 and you keep $4,800. At 40% of gross it takes $4,000 and you keep $4,000.
How does the OnlyFans earnings calculator work?
It follows the money in the order it moves. Fans spend; OnlyFans keeps 20%; the rest reaches your account. An agency's commission is then worked out on the base its contract names, gross, net or net profit, and any agreed costs and fees come off your share. What's left is what you keep before tax.
| Step | Formula |
|---|---|
| Fan spend (gross) | your figure, or subscribers × price + PPV, messages and tips |
| Net | gross × 0.8 |
| Commission base | gross, net, or net minus agreed costs |
| Commission | rate × base |
| You keep | net − agreed costs − commission − fixed fee − upfront fee ÷ 12 |
| Agency's share of your net | (commission + fees) ÷ net |
What is the difference between commission on gross and on net?
Commission on gross is taken from everything fans spend, including the 20% OnlyFans keeps. Commission on net is taken only from what reaches you. So the same headline rate costs more on gross: 40% of gross equals 50% of your net. Divide a gross rate by 0.8 to compare it with a net rate.
| Rate on gross | Same as this rate on net |
|---|---|
| 20% | 25% |
| 30% | 37.5% |
| 40% | 50% |
| 50% | 62.5% |
| 60% | 75% |
How do you work out whether an agency pays for itself?
Enter what fans spend today, on your own, in the last box. The calculator then shows the monthly fan spend you'd need with the agency to keep the same amount, and the growth that implies. If an agency charges 40% of net, fans need to spend two-thirds more than today just for you to stand still.
That figure is the honest test of any offer. An agency is worth it only if it can realistically deliver more than that growth, or if the time it frees up is worth the difference to you. Treat any promise of a specific growth figure before anyone has looked at your account with caution.
What does the calculator leave out?
- Tax: income tax, National Insurance or self-employment tax depend on where you live. See OnlyFans tax in the UK or does OnlyFans send a 1099?
- Refunds and chargebacks, which reduce fan spend after the fact. See refunds and chargebacks.
- Payout and currency-conversion costs, which depend on your payout method and bank. See how OnlyFans payouts work.
- Tiered rates that change with earnings. Run each tier separately.

Frequently asked questions
How much does OnlyFans take from creators?
OnlyFans keeps 20% of what fans pay, and the creator receives the other 80%. On $1,000 of fan spend, $800 reaches the creator before any agency commission or tax.
Is 40% of gross the same as 40% of net?
No. Because OnlyFans keeps 20% first, 40% of gross equals 50% of what reaches you. To compare a gross rate with a net rate, divide the gross rate by 0.8.
What does commission on net profit mean?
It means the agency's percentage is applied after OnlyFans' 20% fee and after agreed costs, such as approved paid promotion, are taken off. VANTA's commission works this way, at a rate agreed individually with each creator.
Does the calculator store my numbers?
No. It runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you type is sent to VANTA or anyone else. The share link only contains the numbers you choose to put in it.
Can I embed this calculator on my website?
Yes, for free. Copy the embed code on this page. The credit link is optional and you're free to mark it nofollow.
