Can You Use OnlyFans and Fansly at the Same Time?

Plenty of creators run pages on more than one subscription platform, for extra reach, different features or a safety net if one account has problems. It can work well, but it doubles some of the work and creates a few traps, from pricing conflicts to contracts that quietly forbid it. Here's how to do it sensibly.

Editorial note: Based on the VANTA team's experience and each platform's published terms as available on 8 October 2026. Platform rules change, so check each one's current terms. General information only.

Can you have OnlyFans and Fansly at the same time?

Yes. Neither platform's standard terms stop you from also being a creator elsewhere, and many creators run both. You must follow each platform's rules, including on promoting other sites, and check you haven't signed an agency or platform agreement that requires exclusivity. Expect more work for posting and messaging.

Why do creators use more than one platform?

The main reasons are reaching fans who prefer another platform, using features such as Fansly's subscription tiers or discovery, testing whether a niche does better elsewhere, and reducing dependence on a single account. A second platform is a hedge, not a guarantee of more income.

Can you post the same content on both?

Generally yes, if you own the content, it follows each platform's rules and you haven't promised exclusivity to fans or anyone else. Some creators keep a few items exclusive to each platform to give fans a reason to subscribe to both, or to favour their main page.

Should prices be the same on each platform?

Not necessarily, but big differences can upset fans who notice, especially loyal ones paying more. Many creators keep subscription prices similar and vary bundles, tiers or exclusive content instead. Remember that fees, payout terms and features differ, so work out what you actually keep on each platform before setting prices. See how much to charge for an OnlyFans subscription.

Can you promote your Fansly on OnlyFans?

Be careful. Platforms generally restrict promoting competing sites on their own pages and messages. Check each platform's current rules before mentioning another platform in posts, bios or messages. The safer approach is to send fans to a neutral link page from your social accounts that lists both.

See how to use a link in bio.

How do you manage two inboxes?

Messaging is where multi-platform creators feel the strain. Set clear times for each inbox, keep fan notes for each platform, use consistent boundaries and prices, and don't let one platform's fans go unanswered. If you use a chat team, make sure they know both platforms' rules.

Workflow checklist:

What exclusivity traps should you watch for?

Some agency contracts and platform promotions require you to work only with them or only on one platform. Signing one and then running a second page could breach it. Read contracts carefully and ask before you sign. See OnlyFans agency exclusivity clauses.

How do you protect content across platforms?

More platforms mean more places content can leak from. Watermark content with your page name, consider slightly different watermarks per platform so you can trace where a leak came from, and set geo-blocking on every platform, not just your main one. Check each platform's privacy settings separately. See should you watermark your OnlyFans content?.

How should you split your promotion?

Most creators send most traffic to one main page and mention the second as an option. Splitting promotion evenly can weaken both. Use tracking links to see which platform converts better for each source, then shift effort towards the better performer over a few months.

When is a second platform not worth it?

If you're struggling to keep one page active, adding another usually spreads you too thin. A second platform makes most sense once your main page has a steady routine. Compare earnings with the extra hours each month; if the second page doesn't justify the time, it's fine to stop.

How do taxes work with two platforms?

You report income from all platforms together as one business in most cases. Each platform may issue its own tax forms or reports. Keep records for each and add them up. In the UK, digital platforms report seller income to HMRC; in the US, you report all income whether or not you receive a form.

Frequently asked questions

Is it against OnlyFans rules to have a Fansly?

Having a page elsewhere isn't generally against OnlyFans' rules. Promoting other platforms on OnlyFans itself may be restricted, so check the current terms.

Can I use the same username on both platforms?

Yes, if it's available. Using the same name helps fans find you and makes impersonators easier to spot.

Can I cross-post the same photos to OnlyFans and Fanvue?

Generally yes, if you own the content, it follows both platforms' rules and you haven't agreed to exclusivity.

Will an agency manage both my OnlyFans and Fansly?

Some agencies manage more than one platform. Ask which platforms they handle day to day and whether their contract allows you to work elsewhere.
