What to Do If Your OnlyFans Account Is Hacked
Finding that someone else has been in your OnlyFans account is frightening, especially if your payout details or messages have changed. Acting quickly limits the damage. This guide gives you the steps in order, from securing your email to protecting your earnings, and what to do afterwards so it doesn't happen again.
Editorial note: Based on the VANTA team's experience with creator account security and general account-recovery practice. OnlyFans' support process can change and its help pages weren't publicly accessible when we checked on 8 October 2026. General information only.
What should you do first if your OnlyFans is hacked?
Secure your email account first, because whoever controls your email can reset your OnlyFans password. Then change your OnlyFans password, log out other sessions, turn on two-factor authentication and check your payout details. If you're locked out, contact OnlyFans support straight away from the email linked to your account.
Immediate steps, in order:
- Change your email password and turn on two-factor authentication for your email.
- Change your OnlyFans password to a new, unique one.
- Log out of all other sessions in your OnlyFans security settings, if available.
- Turn on two-factor authentication for OnlyFans.
- Check your payout method and banking details.
- Contact OnlyFans support with details of what happened.
How can you tell if someone accessed your OnlyFans?
Warning signs include password or email change notifications you didn't request, unfamiliar logins or devices, messages or posts you didn't send, changed prices, changed payout details, and fans mentioning odd messages. Check your account's login and session history if it's available, and look for security emails from OnlyFans.
| Sign | What it may mean | Action |
|---|---|---|
| Password reset email you didn't request | Someone is trying to get in | Secure your email; change password |
| Unknown device or location login | Someone has your password | Log out sessions; turn on 2FA |
| Payout details changed | Someone is trying to take your earnings | Contact support urgently |
| Messages you didn't send | Someone is using your account | Change password; warn fans if needed |
| Locked out completely | Email or password changed | Contact support from your original email |
What if your payout details were changed?
Treat it as urgent. Contact OnlyFans support immediately, explain that your payout details were changed without your permission and ask them to secure the account and pause payouts. Tell your bank if any of your banking information was exposed. Keep screenshots of everything as evidence.

What if you can't log in at all?
Contact OnlyFans support from the email address linked to your account, if you still have access to it. Explain that your account was compromised and that you can verify your identity. Have your ID and account details ready. If your email was also taken, recover that first through your email provider.
Should you report a hacked account to the police?
If money was taken, your identity was stolen, or you're being threatened or blackmailed, report it. In the UK, fraud and cyber crime are reported to Action Fraud in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, or to Police Scotland. In the US, the FBI's Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) takes reports. Call emergency services if you're in danger.
What if someone you shared access with did it?
If a former agency, chatter or partner had your login and misused it, change every password, remove their access and keep evidence. This is why it's safer if team members never have your password. See how to leave an OnlyFans agency for securing your account when ending a relationship.
At VANTA, creators keep their own login and full access. Our team works on accounts only with the creator's permission, through our management system, rather than holding creators' passwords.
How do you stop it happening again?
Use a unique, strong password for OnlyFans and your email, turn on two-factor authentication everywhere, never share your password, watch for phishing emails pretending to be OnlyFans, and review logins regularly. Remove access for anyone who no longer needs it.
Prevention checklist:
- Unique passwords stored in a password manager.
- Two-factor authentication on OnlyFans and email.
- No shared passwords with anyone.
- Suspicious "OnlyFans" emails checked before clicking.
- Login history reviewed monthly.
For a fuller security set-up, see our creator privacy and account security guide.
Should you tell your fans?
If the hacker sent messages, asked fans for money or posted content, tell fans briefly that your account was compromised and that they should ignore unusual messages. Never ask them to pay outside OnlyFans. A short, calm post is enough; you don't need to share details.
