How to Price Custom Content on OnlyFans
Custom content, made to a fan's request, is often the most personal and best-paid work on OnlyFans. It's also where creators most often undercharge, overpromise or end up doing things they're not comfortable with. A clear pricing method and a simple request process solve most of those problems.

How should you price custom content on OnlyFans?
Price customs by your time and effort, not just length. Start with a base rate for a short, simple piece, then add for length, complexity, outfits or props, personalisation such as using the fan's name, and fast turnaround. Customs are personal work, so they should normally cost more than standard PPV.
What affects the price of a custom?
Length, how much setting up it needs, whether it uses specific outfits or props, how personalised it is, whether the fan wants it quickly, and whether it's exclusive to them. Simple photo sets cost less than personalised videos. Anything you'd find hard to do again should be priced accordingly.
| Factor | Effect on price | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Length or number of photos | Higher with more | 10-minute video vs 2-minute clip |
| Set-up and props | Higher with more | A specific outfit or location |
| Personalisation | Higher | Using the fan's name or a script |
| Turnaround | Higher if rushed | Within 24 hours vs within a week |
| Exclusivity | Higher | Not reused or sold to anyone else |
Is there a simple formula for custom pricing?
Try: base rate + extras for each factor + a rush fee if needed. Set your base rate by working out what you want to earn per hour of filming, editing and admin. Then check that standard PPV still looks good value next to customs, so your pricing makes sense as a whole.
Illustrative example: a base of $40 for a short clip, plus $20 for a requested outfit, plus $15 for using the fan's name, plus $25 for delivery within 24 hours, totals $100. Your numbers will depend on your niche and audience.
Should fans pay before you make a custom?
Yes. Taking payment in full, or at least a substantial deposit, before you start protects your time. Take all payments on OnlyFans, for example through a paid message, tip or the platform's request features, never off the platform. Agree what's included before payment, so there are no disputes later.
How do you set boundaries for custom requests?
Write a list of what you do and don't make, and share it with anyone who handles requests for you. Decline anything outside it politely and without negotiating. Never agree to content that breaks OnlyFans' rules. Boundaries protect you, and they make it easier to quote quickly and consistently.
Custom request checklist:
- What exactly is requested (type, length, outfit, any script).
- Inside your boundaries and OnlyFans' rules.
- Price quoted and accepted in writing in the chat.
- Payment received on OnlyFans before you start.
- Delivery date agreed.
- Whether it's exclusive or can be reused.
How long should customs take to deliver?
Give a realistic window, such as three to seven days, and charge extra for faster delivery. Tell fans if anything changes. Late or missed customs are a common cause of refund requests and complaints, so it's better to promise less and deliver early.
Can you reuse custom content?
Agree it upfront, in the chat, before the fan pays. Some fans pay extra for exclusivity; others don't mind if a custom later appears as PPV for other fans. If you promised exclusivity, keep that promise. Reusing content you said was exclusive damages trust and invites refund requests.
What should a chat team do with custom requests?
A chat team can take requests, quote prices from your list, confirm details and arrange payment, but only within the boundaries you've set. Anything unusual should come to you before a price is agreed. You should always have the final say on what you make. See OnlyFans chatting rules.
What are common custom pricing mistakes?
Quoting on the spot without a price list, agreeing to rushed delivery for free, starting work before payment, forgetting editing time, and accepting vague requests that lead to disputes later. Each one costs time or money. A written price list and request checklist prevent almost all of them.
If you find yourself regularly resenting a type of custom, that's a sign it's underpriced or outside your boundaries. Either raise the price or stop offering it.
Frequently asked questions
How much should I charge for an OnlyFans custom video?
It depends on length, complexity, personalisation and turnaround. Work out an hourly rate you're happy with and build prices from that. Customs usually cost more than standard PPV.
Should I take a deposit for customs?
Taking full payment or a substantial deposit before you start is common and protects your time. Keep all payments on OnlyFans.
Can I refuse a custom request?
Yes. You can decline any request, whatever the price. A written list of boundaries makes it easier to say no consistently.
Can I sell a custom to other fans later?
Only if you didn't promise exclusivity. Agree reuse terms when you take the request.
